Echocardiographers are technologists that use ultrasonic equipment to look at the structure and function of the heart and vascular systems in the body. They are part of the health care team that help physicians diagnose patients.

This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) (caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) (jrcdms.org). JRC-DMS policies require calculation of program effectiveness data (defined as retention rate, job placement, test taker rate, and credential success rate) using a prescribed methodology, and the data for the prior three graduated cohorts can be found here: DMS Program Effectiveness Data.
