Holds are an electronic mechanism used to inform students of unmet requirements at the College. If a hold is placed on a student record, when the student enters her/his user ID and password into Mykpsahs (student portal), the student will see a description of the hold and contact information on who to contact regarding the hold and actions needed to remove the hold.
The College recommends that all students check the student portal over the inter-quarter break as some holds are placed on student accounts at the end of the term. Students should resolve any issues prior to the start of the new term. Failure to resolve a hold may preclude participation in classes until such time as the hold has been removed.
