
Claudia Vass
Claudia Vass is the Program Director for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography general and cardiac programs at the Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences, a role she has held since January 2022. She began her career in medical imaging in 1982 with the United States Air Force, where she trained and served in radiology department. Over the course of her career, Claudia has worked extensively as a medical imaging technologist and diagnostic medical sonographer, bringing decades of hands-on clinical experience to her leadership in education.
In 2012, she transitioned into academic leadership as a Sonography Program Director, where she has been dedicated to training the next generation of sonographers through excellence in instruction, curriculum development, and mentorship. Claudia remains deeply committed to advancing the field of medical imaging and supporting students as they prepare for meaningful and impactful careers in healthcare.
