Salim Rafidi comes to KPSAHS from within KP where he has been a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) since 2005. A CLS is one of the few recognized credentials by the CDPH – Laboratory Field Services (LFS), needed to oversee the operations of a phlebotomy program in the State of California. Additionally, Salim has spent time with Ohlone Community College, and most recently with City College of San Francisco, as program director of their respective phlebotomy programs. His knowledge of phlebotomy is extensive and he is very familiar with the approval processes of LFS, the daily operations and outcomes of a phlebotomy program, and working with and supporting a successful student body.
